War of the Worlds: Alien Perspective is a modern satirical radio play that hilariously reimagines the classic War of the Worlds. It critiques today's sensationalist media culture by blending Orson Welles' iconic drama with a fresh twist: the "invading aliens" are a bickering interstellar family on a disastrous camping trip. This is National Lampoon's Vacation meets an updated War of the Worlds, an out-of-this-world comedy for today’s fake news era.
As humanity spirals into paranoia, misinterpreting the aliens’ mundane actions as an apocalyptic threat, the aliens grapple with their own dysfunction, like misreading headlight instructions, malfunctioning gadgets, and a dad who has trouble driving a three-legged camper. Packed with sci-fi Easter eggs and absurd misunderstandings, the play hilariously exposes how propaganda distorts reality while celebrating the quirks of vacationing families everywhere.

The Holiday Radio Theater Extravaganza is a collection of comedic and heartwarming holiday-themed plays, written by Sean Sullivan, that creatively reimagine classic stories as if they took place in a radio station.
The first narrative, "It’s a Wonderful Station," follows a passionate but struggling community radio DJ, who faces existential doubts about his career and the future of local broadcasting. With the help of a bumbling guardian angel named Bubba, who embarks on a magical journey to rediscover the value of impacting the community. The play humorously mirrors It’s a Wonderful Life, blending sharp satire about corporate media with heartfelt moments that champion creativity and community spirit. The story also incorporates elements of slapstick humor, and poignant reflections on family and purpose.
Other pieces in the anthology include The Holiday Song, and orginal work that centers on the ethical delemma of what to do for the holiday, spend it with family or chase your dreams.
A Radio Holiday Carol, which adapts A Christmas Carol into a satirical tale about Ebenezer Scooch, a miserly radio station owner visited by ghosts who force him to confront his greed and lack of empathy.
The collection also features shorter sketches like Yes Virginia, there is a DJ, which humorously defends the relevance of DJs in an era dominated by automation, and the Night before Christmas....at a radio station.
Each play offers a mix of humor, surprisingly universal social commentary, and holiday cheer, the anthology celebrates both the magic of storytelling and the enduring power of community media.
